a main thing in this project is to follow and challenge the conventions of a 'thriller' film.
we have followed the conventions by;
- using a blonde girl to begin with, the blondes nearly always die in horror and thriller films.
- we also have used becky, who is brunette, who will survive throughout the whole film.
- we have used a security camera, and flashbacks to portray a thriller-esque film opening.
we have challenged the conventions by;
- using music with lyrics in, because we feel the lyrics fit the male perspective of our film.
- we also used a zoom which is rarely used in film, but we felt that it felt and looked good.
